What is the Industry Benchmarking Survey?
Taking place annually, the APA’s Industry Benchmarking Survey takes a look at the current trends and health of the industry, as well as any potential risks to Accounts Payable functions. The survey is open to all AP professionals, working across all sectors, ensuring an accurate representation of the entire profession.
Data gathered from the survey will enable the Accounts Payable Association to form a better understanding of the ‘state of the industry’, before releasing the findings within the much anticipated Industry Benchmarking Report.
The survey looks to gather information on the following areas:
People, Training & Development | Process Efficiency & Automation | Cost & Cash Flow Management | Supplier & Stakeholder Relationships
Technology & Integration | Compliance & Risk | Payments & Cross-border Transactions | Vendor & Data Management | Future of AP

Each unique perspective helps create a well-rounded understanding of current trends and challenges across the AP landscape – and so we need your help!
The survey takes around 5-7 minutes to complete, but by incorporating a larger participant base, i.e. greater numbers of AP professionals from a diverse range of industries, the final report will be more comprehensive.
